Eagle Canoe Club is a general canoeing club - we do various types of canoeing.

Our members range in ability and we have whole families as members as well as individual members

       of all ages.

The club has a lot of young members although it is generally recommended that children should be

aged 10 or over before joining to ensure that they are strong enough to handle the canoes/kayaks.

We are a volunteer canoe club which arranges a whole host of paddlesport activities for people of

varying abilities from beginner to the more advanced levels.

The Club has been in existence for over fifty years and we currently have around 100 members which

makes us possibly one of the largest clubs in East Anglia.

Our club meets at the Quay Theatre in Sudbury on Friday evenings during the
summer months and Saturday mornings during the winter, to paddle the
beautiful River Stour, and  other venues including a swimming pool during
the colder, winter months to brush up on all our skills.  We also adventure on
many white water trips throughout the year and pictures of these can be
         seen in the Gallery.
