By narrowing the shape and slightly lowering the seats we have developed a series that paddles better than most recreational canoes on the market. The Saranac series features two contoured seats plus a bench seat perfect for smaller passengers. The bench seat also includes a covered storage compartment. There are a variety of extras including cup holders, rod holders and storage trays designed to add convenience and versatility. The Saranac is affordable family fun!

  • Molded-in rod holders (bow and center)
  • Molded-in flush mount for rod holder or anchor system (bow and stern)
  • Molded-in storage trays
  • Molded-in paddle rests (bow and stern)
  • Molded-in cup holders (bow, center and stern)
  • Comfortable molded-in handles

Made from

Thermoformed Polyethylene
This process uses a single plastic sheet of high density polyethylene to form a canoe over a mold. The thermoformed plastic hull material is durable and provides better abrasion and impact resistance than more expensive fiberglass hulls. Compared to aluminum the plastic hull is less prone to denting and quieter during on water activity.

Flat bottom

Flat bottom canoes offer great initial stability; that is, they feel very secure on calm water. Flat bottom canoes are great for sportsmen and general recreationalists looking for steadiness.

Moderate rocker

Moderate RockerModerately rockered canoes are usually straight
with a rise toward the ends. Most general
recreation canoes have a moderate rocker.
